Thomas Rhett once revealed his best relationship advice in a sweet way.
The country star caught up with iHeartRadio ahead of Valentine’s Day in 2016, and he offered “some romantic tips and ideas to make your valentine have an extra special night.” Some of Rhett’s advice included buying flowers, going out to a nice restaurant and serenading her with his hit 2015 ballad, “Die A Happy Man.” He’s since released other heartfelt songs throughout his career, including his seventh full-length studio record, About A Woman, serving as a tribute to his wife. The 14-track project included “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Woman,” “Overdrive,” “Gone Country,” “Beautiful As You,” “After All The Bars Are Closed,” and other highlights.
Rhett met his wife, Lauren Akins, in elementary school. The couple briefly dated in high school, though they parted ways for a few years before rekindling their romance. Rhett proposed to Akins six months into their relationship when they started dating again, and they tied the knot in October 2012 in in an intimate ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee.
