Emo Cowgirl Megan Moroney is bracing herself for a blue Christmasโ€ฆ duh.

Moroney marked the beginning of the holiday season with a surprise 3-track EP titled Blue Christmas โ€ฆduh. The collection, produced by Moroneyโ€™s frequent collaborator Kristian Bush, features two original Christmas songs and the Georgia-born country starโ€™s rendition of the classic ballad that Elvis Presley famously released in the 1950s. Moroney announced the EP hours ahead of its official debut on Friday (November 1).

  1. โ€œAll I Want for Christmas is a Cowboyโ€ (Megan Moroney, Ben Williams, Mackenzie Carpenter, Micah Carpenter)
  2. โ€œChristmas Morningโ€ (Megan Moroney, Ben Williams, Mackenzie Carpenter, Micah Carpenter)
  3. โ€œBlue Christmasโ€ (Billy Hayes, Jay Johnson)

Moroneyโ€™s rendition of โ€œBlue Christmasโ€ and the EPโ€™s title perfectly first the signature color scheme of the โ€œMan on the Moonโ€ hitmakerโ€™s sophomore era. Moroney released Am I Okay? in June, and extended the album with a deluxe edition, Am I Okay? (Iโ€™ll Be Fine), last month. The 17-track record is Moroneyโ€™s highly-anticipated follow-up to her debut era (marked by the signature color green), Lucky. The CMA Award-nominated songstress delivered her debut album and its deluxe edition last year.
