Watch Chase Rice's Heartfelt Rendition Of Throwback Ballad By Eric Church

Chase Rice delivered a heartfelt rendition of a throwback ballad by Eric Church, and shared the cover on TikTok on Wednesday (October 23).

Rice performed “Those I’ve Loved,” one of 12 tracks that appeared on Church’s second studio album, Carolina, in 2009. That album also included “Smoke a Little Smoke,” the title track, “Hell on the Heart” and more. Rice’s rendition arrives as he gets ready to join Church and other artists at the Concert for Carolina, a benefit show to support hurricane relief efforts in the Carolina region in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Church will headline the concert with Luke CombsBilly Strings and James Taylor. The lineup also includes Rice, Sheryl CrowKeith UrbanBailey ZimmermanThe Avett BrothersScotty McCreery, and Parmalee.

“Can’t wait to get to Carolina this week to hang with a bunch of my fellow Tar Heel state songwriters and raise a ton of money for hurricane relief. Here’s a little Eric Church to get us goin. What Luke Combs song should I cover for y’all?” Rice wrote in his caption on TikTok.

ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley will host Concert for Carolina. The sold-out event will be live-streamed on Veeps, and broadcast on iHeartRadio. Listeners can catch the benefit show here. Concert for Carolina takes place on Saturday (October 26) at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
