Gabby Barrett unveiled new details about her new Christmas album on Monday evening (October 21), and offered a sneak peek of her rendition of a holiday classic.
Barrett, 24, shared the release date of “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” and the full record, Carols and Candlelight, when she posted the album artwork with her announcement on Instagram. The singer-songwriter said “if you know me, you know that Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year.” The first song from Barrett’s Christmas collection will arrive on Friday (October 25), and the full project will follow on November 8. “I know we’re close to Halloween, but my heart is in HOLIDAY MODE!!!!! 🎄”
Carols and Candlelight follows Barrett’s highly-anticipated sophomore album, Chapter & Verse. The 14-track album made its debut in February after three years in the making. Chapter & Verse includes “Cowboy Back,” “Dance Like No One’s Watching,” “Glory Days,” “You’re My Texas” and more. The album offers a glimpse of Barrett’s life, including her faith and family. Barrett and her husband, Cade Foehner, welcomed Baby No. 3 shortly after Chapter & Verse arrived. Daughter Ivy Josephine was born on February 17. She joins big sister Baylah May, born in January 2021, and big brother Augustine Boone, born in October 2022. Barrett has since returned to the stage, including her debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry and dozens of tour dates in recent months. See her latest announcement here:
