Keith Urban will headline and co-host the annual New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash, per an announcement on Tuesday (October 8).

Urban joins Kane Brown and Jelly Roll, the first to headliners who were confirmed in the star-studded lineup of the five-hour special. The annual free show takes place at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Nashville, Tennessee. Urban is hosting New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash with returning co-host, Rachel Smith, of Entertainment Tonight. The show airs across multiple time zones, and ends with the iconic Nashville Music Drop and fireworks at midnight CT, the press release noted.

The New Year’s Eve announcement arrives shortly after Urban delivered his latest studio album, HIGH. The 12-track record includes “Straight Line,” “Messed Up As Me,” “Go Home W U” featuring Lainey Wilson, “Heart Like A Hometown” and more. Urban celebrated the record with album release shows, taking the stage at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival, and recently kicked off his 10-show run in Las Vegas.

Additional New Year’s Eve Live performers will be announced at a later date.

New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash will air on Tuesday, December 31 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, 10:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT) on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
