Jana Kramer unveiled new details after teasing her social media followers with cryptic clues earlier this week.
The country artist, author, actress and Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast host posted a black-and-white snapshot by photographers Craig and Eva Sanders on Instagram on Friday (August 30). The photo was from her wedding day with husband Allan Russell in Scotland on July 13, with the word “WARRIOR” appearing in all-capital letters above the newlywed couple. Kramer wrote in her caption as she posted the photo: “You’re Invited! Save the date….9/13/2024.”
Kramer's next single, “WARRIOR,” is set to release on September 13.
Kramer’s announcement about her new single arrives shortly after she shared a few teasers, including a blurred photo and a post of Russell with the couple’s baby, son Roman James Russell. The glimpse of the father-son duo serves as the first slide of that post, followed by a second picture of a tattoo that reads: “Jana, my little warrior. You’re my girl. I will always take care of your heart,” with a red heart following the text. Kramer prompted her Instagram followers to guess what the clue meant, and many commenters guessed she was hinting at her wedding song she wrote for her new husband.
Kramer, 40, and Russell, 43, got married at Carnell Estate in Scotland over the summer. The intimate ceremony included their baby, Kramer’s two children from her previous marriage, Jolie, 8, and Jace, 5, and Russell’s son from a previous relationship, Troy, 16. Kramer and Russell announced their engagement in May 2023 after about six months of dating. Soon after, they made their pregnancy announcement. The newlyweds traveled to Italy for their honeymoon after the wedding in Scotland. Russell has previously hailed his now-wife a “warrior,” including when the couple welcomed their son in November 2023. Russell said at that time that Kramer is “an absolute warrior of a woman and incredible mum who I simply adore.”
