Parker McCollum’s wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum, offered a glimpse of her son’s cozy nursery as the first-time parents await their baby’s arrival.

Hallie shared a video on Instagram on Monday evening (July 29) to unveil the nursery, fit for the couple’s “little cowboy.” She wrote in her caption, “now we are just waiting on you, baby boy 🤎” The video is set to her husband’s heartfelt ballad, “Things I Never Told You,” which appeared on his 15-track album, Never Enough, last year. Hallie, who married Parker in Texas in 2022, used the same song when she and her husband shared the gender reveal in February, right after making the announcement that they’re expecting Baby No. 1.

At that time, Parker commented with several suggestions for his son’s name, including: Keaton Cadillac McCollum, King Cowboy McCollum, Yancey Tyler McCollum, Walker Yancey McCollum and Major Yancey McCollum. It turns out, that list included the name the McCollums selected for their son.

The “To Be Loved By You” artist revealed on The Spencer Graves Show, which appears on iHeartRadio’s 102.5 The Bull in Birmingham, Alabama, that Baby No. 1’s name is Major Yancey McCollum. Parker said in a clip Graves shared on Instagram and TikTok last week: “It’s dope. I was watching Rose Bowl highlights, and I saw Major Applewhite, [current South Alabama Football head coach and former Texas quarterback]. I was like, ‘damn, Major McCollum would be sick.’”

Parker and Hallie are expected to welcome Major Yancey McCollum in just a few weeks.
