Legal filings apparently show accusations between Billy Ray Cyrus and his estranged wife, FIREROSE, including that she allegedly “had been conducting a campaign to isolate (Cyrus) from his family,” and more.

Cyrus filed for divorce from Australian singer-songwriter FIREROSE, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodges, in late May, citing “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct.” The country artist is seeking an annulment, alleging fraud, less than one year after the couple got married. Court documents filed on Monday (Jun 17) and obtained by E! News state that since filing his initial complaint, Cyrus “discovered that the Defendant [FIREROSE] had been conducting a campaign to isolate the Plaintiff from his family. He has discovered that the Defendant, unknowingly to Plaintiff, blocked at least one (1) of his daughters from being able to contact him on his phone(s) or electronic devices.”

Cyrus divorced his first wife in 1991. His marriage with Tish Cyrus ended in 2022 after nearly three decades together. Cyrus shares five children with Tish: Brandi CyrusTrace CyrusBraison CyrusNoah Cyrus and Miley Cyrus. He has one child, son Christopher Cody, from a previous relationship. It was unclear which daughter the court filing referred to as of publication time on Thursday (June 20).

Cyrus, 62, also apparently alleges in the court filings that FIREROSE, in her mid-30s, lied about her name and a previous marriage (in particular, that “Hodges” is not her real maiden name, but the last name of an ex-husband). FIREROSE has reportedly made allegations of her own, including that Cyrus filed for divorce one day before she planned to undergo a preventative double mastectomy. FIREROSE accused her estranged husband of verbal and emotional abuse in response to the preventative procedure, TMZ, PEOPLE and other outlets note of the filings.

Last week, Cyrus filed for a temporary restraining order against FIREROSE, and accused her of spending nearly $97,000 in “unauthorized” charges on his credit card. Her attorneys, however, said FIREROSE has had access to her estranged husband’s card for approximately two years, and Cyrus “has no right to cut her off.”

Cyrus confirmed his engagement to FIREROSE, his “soulmate,” in late 2022, following speculation after she was seen wearing a dazzling ring on Instagram. They got married on October 10, 2023, and shared wedding photos the following day. Cyrus said at that time that it was a “beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony,” and called FIREROSE the “beautiful love of my life.”
