Lainey Wilson announced the opening date of Bell Bottoms Up, her new bar opening in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
The reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year teamed up with her dog, Hippie Mae, to reveal that Bell Bottoms Up “is open for business May 31! Yank up them britches and make plans to check it out on Broadway before my Country’s Cool Again tour kicks off that weekend in Nashville!”
Wilson, who celebrated her 32nd birthday on Sunday (May 19), confirmed earlier this month that she’s opening Bell Bottoms Up. Her restaurant and bar will take the spot of Florida Georgia Line’s now-closed FGL House, located at 120 3rd Ave S. The duo’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley confirmed FGL House is closed in a statement earlier this month. The bar’s grand opening took place in June 2017, according to a May 2017 press release.
Wilson recently said in a Q&A with iHeartCountry that her recent pop-up bar, the Hold My Bourbon Bar, “definitely gave me a taste of what I can expect by opening my own bar and I’m so excited for everyone to experience it. My bar will have a fun 70’s western feel to it and a Cajun-inspired menu for all my Louisiana folks!” Bell Bottoms Up will join a growing list of bars by country artists on Nashville’s Lower Broadway and intersecting streets. Others include Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley and more.
Bell Bottoms Up arrives shortly after Wilson announced her new album, Whirlwind, will release on August 23, following her Grammy Award-winning album, Bell Bottom Country. So far, she’s released “Country’s Cool Again” and “Hang Tight Honey.” Wilson said “have some fun things up our sleeves” on her upcoming tour, kicking off with back-to-back nights in Nashville and ending with back-to-back shows in Monroe, Louisiana.
