Jon Pardi’s wife, Summer Pardi, hinted at the name the couple selected for Baby No. 2.
Summer responded to a few questions from social media followers on her Instagram story on Wednesday morning (April 17). One Instagram user wanted to know whether she’s decided on a name for her second child yet. Sharing a sweet photo of her firstborn child, daughter Presley Fawn Pardi, Summer confirmed: “Yep! Starts with an S.” On another slide, an Instagram user, who is pregnant and due to welcome a baby girl in July, asked “what were some girl names you loved but (are) not using?” Summer said she loved “Monroe and Aspen.”
“If we had a boy I wanted to name him Duncan (my maiden name),” Summer shared with another follower who needed help picking a name for a baby boy due in June. “Other than that I never really had any boy names that stood out to me so I’m no help haha.”
Summer announced in January that she’s pregnant with Baby No. 2. She and Jon shared a video of the Pardi family walking through the framework of their new home under construction, with glimpses of Presley holding sonogram images. Summer said at that time: “Good thing we have that extra guest room 😉 we can’t wait to fill this home with all of the love from our little family of four 🤍.”
Jon and Summer quickly followed up with their pizza-themed gender reveal, confirming that Baby No. 2 is another girl (“Jon said he knew it, I was definitely surprised,” Summer said at the time). The Pardis welcomed their first daughter last year. Presley arrived in the early morning hours on Saturday, February 18, 2023. The “Cowboys and Plowboys” artist was first to post a picture of his then-newborn daughter, writing in his caption on the photo at that time: “Our Baby girl is here and ready to Pardi haha DAD joke!” Summer confirmed there will be a 17-month age gap between Presley and her little sister.
