Miranda Lambert and Enrique Iglesias recently teamed up to release a soulful new single that tugs at the heart strings titled, "Space In My Heart." Sentimental lyrics and beautiful harmonies blend together to create the touching track, symbolizing the space in one's heart that remains after love has left.

The new single stands out as the country queen and Latin pop star's first collaboration, and Lambert's first release of 2024. According to Billboard, Lambert wrote the song years ago with "Carlos Paucar, Simon Wilcox, Ross Golan and Nolan Lambroza." Iglesias is first to be featured as the love story is spun through lyrics and melodies with nods to both genres. "Space In My Heart" (as Lambert would say) is where "Texas meets Spain," made evident through the perfect pairing of each artist's undeniable tone.

In 2023, Iglesias was named among Billboard's Top-Grossing Latin Artists Of All Time, reminiscing chart-topers like 2001's "Hero," 2010's "I Like It," and 2011's "Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)." Rolling Stone mentioned that the new duet will be featured in the standout's last album, Final (Vol. 2), slated for release next month.

Lambert, known around the world for her spicy, girl-power, country ballads and innate sparkle, holds the title of the artist with the most Academy of Country Music Awards in history. Seven of her albums have served their time on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart in previous years. The "White Liar" songstress hasn't released an album since 2022, but fans are holding out for more new music this year.

While the single is something totally new for the two hitmakers, the great success of country/Latin collaborations can be traced back to Iglesias' immediate bloodline. The "Bailando" artist's father, Latin musician Julio Iglesias, topped country charts in 1984 with “To All the Girls I’ve Loved Before:" an award-winning duet with Willie Nelson.
