Chris Young offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse of his latest music video, “Right Now,” appearing on his ambitious 18-track album that’s slated to release in March. Young shared the making of the music video on Wednesday (January 17), exclusively with iHeartCountry.

Young teamed up with Chris DeStefano and Josh Hoge to write “Right Now,” and filmed the music video — directed by Alexia Stone and Stephen Kinigopoulos — in Nashville, Tennessee. The song tells a story of being in “that in-between phase of a relationship going, ‘It’s late, I can’t sleep. I’m wondering where you are and you’re wondering where I’m at. Let’s not wonder about it anymore. Let’s be in the same place,’” Young explained when he release the song and video.

Young’s ninth studio album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, includes “Right Now,” the David Bowie-inspired title track, “Looking for You,” “All Dogs Go to Heaven” and more. Young, who recently announced his “Young Love & Saturday Nights Tour 2024,” previously told iHeartCountry, “I know it’s gonna sound cliché, but this is one of my favorite projects I’ve ever made. …I’m really, really proud of this project. I want people to hear it.”

Young Love & Saturday Nights will release on March 22.
