Chris Young is kicking off his Young Love & Saturday Nights chapter with a fresh list of headlining tour dates this spring, the country star announced on Tuesday (January 9). Young posted a list of tour stops one day after confirming long-awaited details about his next full-length record, his “largest album to date,” titled after his David Bowie-inspired single.
“New album and new tour, let’s go!” Young wrote in his Instagram caption as he shared details about his headlining “Young Love & Saturday Nights Tour 2024,” with special guest Bryan Martin. Tickets will be available Friday (January 12) at 10 a.m. local time. The tour kicks off in April in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with stops in Texas, Ohio, Arizona and other destinations. It wraps up in May with a show in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Young’s ninth full-length studio album will feature 18 tracks, including one that’s set to release on Friday, “Right Now.” Young Love & Saturday Nights will follow Famous Friends, the album Young debuted in 2021 with a deluxe edition releasing the following year. Young Love & Saturday Nights is due on March 22.
“I’ve been living with it for so long, I’m so excited for people to actually be able to dig into it and hear all of it as a whole as opposed to one or two teaser clips,” Young said of his forthcoming album in a previous interview with iHeartCountry. “It’s always fun to post that stuff, but I want people to really dive into this album and enjoy the work that we’ve put into it.
“I know it’s gonna sound cliché, but this is one of my favorite projects I’ve ever made,” he continued. “If there was actually any inspiration for me being fired up and working on myself, it would probably be that the music is so good. I’m really, really proud of this project. I want people to hear it.”
