Lainey Wilson is slated to reveal her life on the road in a soon-to-premiere CMT special. The “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” powerhouse spent “a whirlwind 48 hours” with the network to share her story, she and CMT announced on Wednesday (December 27).
Wilson said in the teaser she got just over four hours of sleep the night before, and reflected on her years-long journey to build her career as a Grammy Award-nominated artist and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year. Wilson said she and her team have been laying a foundation “brick-by-brick,” when it finally “felt like the house is getting built.
“We’ve been on a rocket,” Wilson told CMT of her meteoric rise. CMT posted Wilson’s schedule to show “one day in the life” along with the announcement for the upcoming special on Wednesday:
