Some of country music’s most iconic mainstays and trailblazing rising artists delivered unforgettable albums throughout 2023.
Tyler Hubbard was one of the first country stars to release an album this year with his self-titled solo debut, along with Elle King’s country record, Come Get Your Wife, in January. HARDY kicked off the year with his genre-blending, country-rock project, the mockingbird & THE CROW. The following month, Kelsea Ballerini surprised fans with her deeply personal EP, Rolling Up The Welcome Mat, sharing her story of heartache and healing after divorce.
Powerhouse country-pop megastar Shania Twain kicked off her Queen of Me era before setting out on her global tour of the same name, and the legendary Dolly Parton unleashed her first-ever rock album with star-studded collaborations, following her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Of course, most of the Top Country Artists of 2023, according to iHeartRewind data, also released new full-length projects this year, including Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Jason Aldean and Jordan Davis.
