Old Dominion revealed plans for a new bar slated to open next year in the Midtown neighborhood in Nashville, Tennessee. The six-time — and reigning — CMA Vocal Group of the Year announced details on their social media channels on Friday afternoon (December 15).

The band shared a reel on Instagram set to the title track of their latest full-length album, Memory Lane, to announce that Odie’s would open in a part of Music City that has “played such a role in the history of our band,” Old Dominion said. The band — made up of Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Spring and Brad Tursi — promised Odie’s would be a “neighborhood bar for us all,” to have a good time. That neighborhood is separate from Downtown Nashville's Lower Broadway, the stretch of honky tonks that includes venues by Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and others.

“We’re so excited to announce that we’re teaming with [Good Time Design] to open a new bar in Nashville’s Midtown neighborhood. Midtown has played such a role in the history of our band,” Old Dominion said of the neighborhood, which also holds the bar where they played a pop-up show and revealed plans for their “No Bad Vibes Tour” last year. “From chilling at the bar after writing, to playing weekly into the wee hours of the morning and even recently playing Whiskey Jam to launch our tour…. It’s an important neighborhood for not only upcoming artists and writers but also for locals and visitors who want a good place they know they can go and have a good time. Odie’s will be that neighborhood bar for us all.”

Old Dominion will kick off 2024 at New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. The band will take the stage during the official watch party at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville. Artists taking the main stage include Thomas RhettLynyrd Skynyrd and Lainey Wilson, among many othersElle King is also set to perform, in addition to her hosting duties with Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith

“We’ve had such an amazing 2023—we can’t think of a better way to ring in the New Year than by doing what we love the most, playing music and making sure there are no bad vibes! What a great way to set the tone for 2024,” Ramsey said in a statement earlier this month.

Odie’s is set to open in Nashville in summer 2024, the band announced on Friday.
