Dan + Shay delivered a powerful, impromptu acoustic rendition of “Save Me The Trouble,” one of their latest smash-hit singles after the duo kicked off their highly-anticipated Bigger Houses era. The beloved duo celebrated the single’s success and expressed their gratitude for the responses to their recent show-stopping performance at the 57th annual CMA Awards in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney said they’re “incredibly proud of the new album and are so grateful that it’s off to a solid start,” as they shared a video of the acoustic spin on “Save Me The Trouble.” The heartache anthem was one of the first to release from Bigger Houses, the 12-track project Smyers and Mooney debuted in September. The album also includes “Always Gonna Be,” “Heartbreak On The Map,” “We Should Get Married,” “Neon Cowgirl” and other fan-favorites (the duo also sought input from fans as they get ready to release their next single).
Dan + Shay released Bigger Houses after revealing they nearly parted ways and quit music. Now, however, Smyers and Mooney are stronger than ever. They’re “a million times the closest we’ve ever been,” and “the process of this album completely changed our lives.”
Dan + Shay will kick off their “Heartbreak On The Map Tour” in February, bringing Ben Rector and Hailey Whitters on the road. See the full list of dates here.
