One of the tracks on Tim McGraw’s latest album describes his relationship with his wife, fellow country music icon Faith Hill, “to a T.” McGraw opened up about what “Her” means to him in a new clip shared on Instagram on Thursday (October 19).

“‘Her’ is one of the first songs I recorded for this album. It’s one of the first songs I collected for this album, and I loved every second of it,” McGraw shared. “I loved every line of every verse. I loved everything about it. It’s to a T my relationship with my wife, I think. And I probably don’t say it enough, so maybe she’ll hear this song and understand what I’m trying to say.”

“Her/ Her heart is true, her spirit wild/ Her/ Her faith is strong and man, her smile’s/ Got blue sky right behind it/ If there's a bright side, then she'll find it/ Sometimes I wish that I could be a little less like me/ A little more like her/ Just a little more like her”

McGraw recently shared a throwback photo from the first time he and Hill met in 1994, as an anniversary tribute. They tied the knot in 1996, and have since raised three daughters: Gracie McGraw, 26, Maggie McGraw, 25, and Audrey McGraw, 21. McGraw said at that time that he “fell for (Hill) in an instant,” when they met in 1994.

The award-winning country megastar released his latest full-length album, Standing Room Only, in August. McGraw’s 13-track project also includes the title track, “Remember Me Well,” “Hey Whiskey” and other highlights. McGraw said when the album released that the album’s songs aim to show “there is a purpose that we’re here. There is a reason that we’re here.”
