Hank Williams Jr. posted a wedding photo with his new wife on Tuesday afternoon (September 12), days after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Alabama. The photo of the newlyweds was simply captioned: “Mr. and Mrs. Hank Williams Jr.

Williams, 74, and his new wife Brandi, 43, got engaged on Mother’s Day earlier this year. The now-newlywed couple has known one another and been friends for two decades. They married in front of a small group of friends and family on Saturday (September 9), according to a post on the music legend’s Facebook page.

“Please congratulate Mr. And Mrs. Hank Williams Jr! Hank and Brandi were married on Sept 9, 2023 at Enon Baptist Church in Banks, Alabama in front of a small group of family and friends,” the statement reads. “A reception followed at Kendall Hall in Troy, Alabama. They had gotten engaged earlier this year on Mothers Day. The bride and groom have known each other and been friends since 2003.”

Williams and Brandi have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, though he posted a photo with her on Instagram — “sweethearts, Hank & Brandi” — in January. Williams, whose late wife died last year after suffering an injury during a procedure, shared earlier this month that he was engaged, calling Brandi is “beautiful and lovely” fiancée.
