Hank Williams Jr. revealed he’s engaged again, after his wife of more than three decades died last year. The country music legend shared the news that he’s set to marry fiancée Brandi earlier this month with a post that reads: “The newly engaged outlaw country music and southern rock legend Hank Williams, Jr. alongside his beautiful and lovely fiancé[e] Brandi.”

Williams, 74, and Brandi, 43, have kept their relationship mostly private, though he’s shared a few photos since introducing her on his Instagram account in January. The caption labeled the couple as “sweethearts, Hank & Brandi.”

Previously, Williams was married to Mary Jane Thomas, his third wife, for 32 years. Thomas died in March 2022 after suffering an injury during a cosmetic procedure that led to a collapsed lung. She was 58. The couple’s son, Sam Williams, remembered his mother as “a beautiful soul who forever affected everyone who knew her. …She is survived by my father, her two parents Ramona and Bill, her brother Andy, her sister Angela, myself and her three grandchildren: Beau Weston, Tennyson Hiram and Audrey Jane. Rest in peace Mama, I will always be the son of Mary Jane.”

It was not immediately clear when Williams plans to tie the knot with fiancée Brandi.
