Blake Shelton could be "Happy Anywhere," but as of Friday (May 12), he's probably most happy with his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

The "God's Country" singer received his coveted star Friday and celebrated the moment with close family and friends, including wife Gwen Stefani, his three stepsons and former The Voice cast mates Adam Levine and Carson Daly. Shelton made a speech himself, and included a special dedication at the end to his late brother, Richie.

"I was talking to my mom this morning and I was thinking about what I want to say when I get up here, and she said to me, she goes, 'You know, I wish Richie could have been here to see this and everything you’ve done' and I feel like that’s probably the best way to wrap this up," Shelton said during his speech. "Richie was my brother I lost many, many years ago, so I dedicate my star on this Walk of Fame to my brother Richie."

Richie, who was 24 at the time, died in a car accident in 1990. Blake was just 14 years old. He recently opened up about the loss of his brother on The Voice, bonding with a contestant who also lost his brother.

"My brother, he would have freaked out if he had known what I went on to do," Blake told NOIVAS, who shared he lost his brother Alfred. "He was such a huge music fan. You'd hear him coming six blocks away, the stereo blaring out of his truck. That's cool, that your brother got to see you do it."

During the ceremony on Friday, Shelton wasn't the only one who gave a heartfelt speech. Longtime friend Levine also said some kind words.

"I'm really proud of you, man, and I love you," Levine said. "It's been a long time since I've seen you and I love you and I'm proud of you. And even though you’re an idiot in so many ways, I just love you and I’m happy to be here and it's an honor to be here for you, and this is a big deal, and I love you, man."
