Carly Pearce has undoubtedly shown through her music that she’s a country girl to her core. But the award-winning singer-songwriter also has an appreciation for other genres of music, especially when she’s out for a run.
Pearce, of course, cranks up the volume on the beloved music by 90s female country icons, including Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood and Shania Twain. She also switches gears to other genres as she exercises, including with techno music. The “Next Girl” superstar shared the must-have music on her running playlist, per a statement shared by her record label:
“I listen to a lot of Beyoncé when I’m running. A lot of 90s female artists outside of when I’m running – Faith, Trisha, Shania. I really like electronic music when I’m running, which is really weird, just like remixes and techno stuff. People make fun of me when they listen to what I’m listening to, but some sort of playlist like that, definitely.“
Even when Pearce is on the road, she brings a treadmill with her, according to her label. Pearce is currently on Blake Shelton’s headlining “Back To The Honky Tonk Tour,” which also features Jackson Dean. Pearce has been taking the stage each night, performing some of her biggest hits, including “What He Didn’t Do.” See the remaining tour dates below.
