Parker McCollum dropped the latest anthem from the track list of his soon-to-release album on Friday (February 17), promising that “I Ain’t Going Nowhere” even with his wanderlust spirit.

McCollum wrote the track with Lori McKenna, Lee Miller, Jon Randall and Liz Rose. It’s one of the songs the reigning Academy of Country Music New Male Artist of the Year revealed on the track list of his next album, Never Enough. McCollum posted new details about the project on his social media channels on Thursday (February 16), announcing that it would make its debut on May 12. So far, fans know Never Enough includes “Stoned,” “Handle On You” and “I Ain’t Going Nowhere.” McCollum scratched out the rest of the track titles when he made his announcement on Thursday, holding off on confirming the rest of the songs on the project until a later date.

“’I Ain't Going Nowhere’ really is kind of a testament to where I'm at in my life right now,” McCollum said in a statement on Friday. “I’ve spent so much time on the road and touring and living on a tour bus and in a van since I was basically a kid and never thought I would settle down or slow down at all. And not to say I'm really slowing down, but, certainly have settled down and found that person that makes it worth it when you have a place to come home to that is not a tour bus or a highway. That was kind of the idea we were going with behind ‘I Ain't Going Nowhere’.”

“Dreamers like me wander off sometimes/ A little restless run in my bloodline/ Always lookin' for somethin' out of reach/ Yeah, well, I can't stop, baby, I'm beggin' to stop now/ I don't wanna have to make you miss me/ So I ain't goin' if you ain't with me/ All I need is what I see right here/ I ain't goin' nowhere”

McCollum is part of the all-star iHeartCountry Festival lineup on May 13, at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Fans across the country will able to tune in to all of the incredible live performances at this year's iHeartCountry Festival as the event will be broadcast on iHeartRadio country stations nationwide, and on iHeartRadio.com as well as the iHeartRadio app on Saturday, May 13th at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
