The Chicks are officially set to kick off a massive world tour in 2023. The iconic trio posted a lengthy list of performance stops on their social media channels on Tuesday morning (February 14), and revealed a star-studded list of special guests who are set to join them on select dates.
“Thank you to all our fans for making last Summer so fun! It’s time to get the party going again! We can’t wait to see everyone!” The Chicks — Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer — said as they announced “The Chicks World Tour 2023” on Instagram on Tuesday.
Special guests on the tour include Wild Rivers (a Canadian trio already “counting down the days” until the tour kicks off), Ben Harper and Maren Morris, who deemed The Chicks her “heroes” and celebrated the announcement with a TikTok set to The Chicks’ iconic 1990s revenge anthem, “Goodbye Earl.”
The world tour is set to kick off in June, shortly after the “Ready to Run” artists take part in Willie Nelson’s all-star 90th birthday celebration and perform a six-show residency in Las Vegas. The Chicks are set to take the stage at Zappos Theater, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the same 7,000-seat venue where other country artists — including Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert — have also hosted residencies. The Chicks said when they announced the Zappos Theater shows that they “hope our fans are ready for more in 2023 because we are not done! There is a lot more to come this year, and we are excited to get it all started in Las Vegas at the Zappos Theater this Spring.”
