Tyler Hubbard recruited Terry Crews in his newest music video, featuring the America’s Got Talent host in an epic dance-off in a bar as Hubbard performs “Dancin’ In The Country.” Hubbard debuted his new music video featuring Crews on Facebook on Wednesday (January 18).

The music video — directed by Stephen Kinigopoulos and Alexa Stone and choreographed by Maya Taylor — is set in a bar and aims to portray a “bar fight” as Crews and his biker friend walk into the bar and challenge another group on the dance floor.

“This video is unlike any video that I’ve ever been a part of,” Hubbard said in a statement, per his record label. “We had the ultimate heavy hitter with Terry Crews on set – he was made for a video like this. One minute, he looked like he was ready to punch a hole in the wall, and the next, he’s got the entire room laughing, just being himself. Terry is one of those guys that everyone wants to be around, and he was just perfect for this video. …Terry and the dancers brought the choreography to life and were able to tell the story through their amazing dancing.”

Crews added: “I was so excited to be asked to do this video with Tyler and when I saw the concept, I thought there was no one else that could pull this off. This video is like a three-minute touchdown celebration, and it was so great to be a part of. For Tyler to allow me to represent something he wrote from his heart means a lot and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

The song is one that appeared on a 6-track collection released under the same name in August, just in time for Hubbard to join Keith Urban on the “Wild Hearts” singer’s headlining tour. The six songs released on Dancin’ In The Country allows fans to get a sneak peek of Hubbard’s upcoming debut solo album, a self-titled project that’s set to release on January 27.

“’Dancin’ In The Country’ is just a really fun, uptempo country song that I’m super excited to play live,” Hubbard previously said, also noting that it was inspired by his family’s dance parties. “I was fortunate enough to get to write this with Ross Copperman, Jon Nite and Keith Urban, who’s just incredible as a writer and a guitarist, and he and Ross Copperman really helped capture the feel and emotion of this song sonically and also me and Jon Nite really tried to dial in the lyrics and they were also very helpful with that. But just an incredible day of songwriting and a really cool song that came from it and a song that sounds like nothing else on the project, and honestly, a song that was inspired by these nightly dance parties we’ve been having in my house after dinner. Me and the three kids and my wife we go in the playroom, turn the party lights on just about every night and have a dance party. So, this is one of those songs that always worked in the dance parties and feels like something that’ll be really fun to take on tour and play live and hopefully get the crowd moving the way the kids do during the dance parties. So, ‘Dancin’ In The Country’ is just a fun one.”
