Wynonna Judd announced which superstar artists would join her on “The Final Tour” in 2023. The tour, celebrating the life and legacy of Wynonna’s late mother, Naomi Judd, will include Martina McBride and other guests on select dates: Ashley McBryde, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Tanya Tucker and Brandi Carlile.
“I am so humbled by the support each of these artists have offered, and cannot think of a better team to help me honor this music,” Wynonna said in her caption on Instagram as she shared the list of tour dates. She added in a statement: “What I can think of to say is that I am looking so forward to being out on the road again, and that I am absolutely thrilled to have my friends joining me for this next tour. I’m so grateful to the fans that they want more and I’m anxious to be with everybody again.”
Wynonna kicked off “The Judds: The Final Tour” earlier this year. The nationwide trek attracted generations of Judds fans, and the “overwhelming love from the fans” called for additional performance dates next year. Wynonna previously said the tour honors Naomi in song. Naomi, one half of the award-winning mother-daughter duo with Wynonna, The Judds, died unexpectedly on April 30. She was 76.
“In my 39 years of performing, this tour has truly been one of my favorite experiences ever. You all have been such a gift during my time of grieving and honoring my mother in song,” Wynonna previously said in a message to her fans as she announced the 2023 tour dates. “Getting to experience all the different generations of Judds fans each night (with your vintage tees, homemade signs, flashlights in the air, singing every word to every song), has been other-worldly. I look so forward to continuing this celebration of the music that has changed my life forever.”
