Loretta Lynn’s family reacted to the outpouring of tributes to the late country legend as her memorial service approaches. Lynn, known as a trailblazer for her decades-long career as a singer-songwriter, died earlier this month at her Tennessee ranch. She was 90.

“Our family is so deeply touched by the overwhelming outpouring of love and support since losing our mom,” the family shared from Lynn’s Twitter account on Tuesday evening (October 25), adding an update about the televised memorial service. “We are amazed at the number of people hoping to attend her memorial on October 30. It was always her request that, in addition to invited guests, some of her fans be able to attend. Truly, you were her friends and she loved you so much!”

CMT, working with Sandbox Productions, unveiled plans last week to honor Lynn with the Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Celebration Of The Life & Music Of Loretta Lynn memorial service, hosted by Jenna Bush Hager. CMT retweeted the family’s message to update fans on ticketing information, which notes that the first 1,500 fans who RSVP’d are confirmed for a reserved seat inside the Grand Ole Opry that evening. Others have been placed on a General Audience Wait List. See the full update on ticket information here.
