HARDY, Morgan Wallen and ERNEST are seemingly all working on new music — and it’s all set to drop in the same year.
ERNEST appeared to drop a major hint when he posted a series of photos on Instagram on Tuesday (October 18). One fan wrote in a comment: “If we get a HARDY, morgan, and ern album in the same year I will be deceased.”
“I’d get ur affairs in order lol,” ERNEST replied.
HARDY announced earlier this month that he plans to release a half country, half rock album on January 20, 2023. He released three songs from the project, The Mockingbird & The Crow, when he made the announcement: “The Mockingbird & The Crow,” “Here Lies Country Music” and “Truck Bed.” He shared the album’s title track, which also includes a few songs that his fans will undoubtedly recognize, including “Wait In The Truck” featuring Lainey Wilson.
Wallen is featured on another track on HARDY’s upcoming album, “Red.” Wallen’s latest full-length project is his massive, 33-track double album, Dangerous: The Double Album, which released last year. The collection includes “Sand In My Boots,” “Wasted On You,” “More Than My Hometown” and other fan-favorites.
In August, ERNEST and HARDY teamed up to perform a medley of some of Wallen’s biggest hits at the 15th Annual ACM Honors ceremony, which aired last month. Wallen earned the ACM Milestone Award. The award celebrates an “outstanding” and record-breaking year, and “winning Album of the Year at [the ACM Awards], and selling over 800,000 tickets so far in 2022,” the Academy of Country Music previously announced.
ERNEST said at that time in a heartfelt tribute to his friend: “Mo, u deserve the world and have worked ur a** off to be here. The hard work is noticed by all and ur constantly raising the bar to heights that ain’t been touched… the standard is different these days… honored to call ya a friend.” See ERNEST’s latest post — with his apparent hint at new music in the comments — here:
