Reba McEntire is totally down for a Reba reboot. In an interview with The Bobby Bones Show, the country star revealed that she's been "trying hard" for a reboot of the popular '00s sitcom.
"We've really been trying hard to do a reboot of the Reba show," she shared. "I really want to work with the people that I got to work with during that six and a half years." Later, the singer gushed over her fellow cast members. "It was fun, the cast the crew everybody we got to work with and play with, they were wonderful people," she said. "We wanted to get back together like a reunion and have fun, so hopefully that will happen one day." The series aired on The WB and The CW from 2001 to 2007 for a total of six seasons.
According to People, several other cast members have expressed their desire to reboot the series including JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who played Reba's oldest daughter Cheyenne Montgomery. In a podcast episode earlier this year, she said "Are you kidding me? We'd love to do [a reboot]!" This fall, Reba will be going on a 17-city arena tour joined by Terri Clark.
