Staying true to his “Party Mode” era, Dustin Lynch filmed his latest music video as he cruised down Nashville’s Lower Broadway in one of the city’s ubiquitous party buses (and, of course, popped into a bar or two along the way).
“Fish In The Sea” kicks off on a makeshift beach in Nashville, seeing the country artist and a group of friends playing a few drinking games in the sand before hitting the town. Lynch and his crew fill the party bus donning leis and tropical wardrobe pieces, offering drinks to passersby between sips from their own cans and solo cups. Lynch teased the song on social media last week, sharing a brief snippet of “Fish in The Sea” and asking fans, “… should I release it?”
The “Small Town Boy” singer released his 12-track album, Blue In The Sky, earlier this year. The collection includes fan-favorite tracks like Lynch’s duet with MacKenzie Porter, “Thinking ‘Bout You,” along with a collaboration with Riley Green and a track featuring Chris Lane, another song perfect for summer called “Tequila On A Boat.” It's all part of Lynch's “Party Mode” era, which inspired the name of his current tour.
“It’s that time of the year! Time to keep the BLUE IN THE SKY and bring a little bit of that feel-good energy into the holiday weekend,” Lynch said in a statement. “This song takes me on a vacation - living life on the water and in a ‘Party Mode’ state of mind. I hope it does that for you, too! Crank it up!”
