Carly Pearce shared a full-circle moment with her mom at one of her latest shows. While she travels the country on Kenny Chesney’s “Here And Now Tour,” the reigning ACM Female Vocalist of the Year played a sold-out show at the Riverbed Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. It’s a venue Pearce often attended as a fan, growing up in nearby Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
“My beautiful mama helped to make every one of my dreams true…” Pearce captioned a heartwarming photo with her mom. She gushed that it was “so special having her with me last night as I played the venue she always told me I would one day! 🥲♥️”
Pearce also shared a backstage photo to express how thankful she was to play her hometown show at the venue she used to attend, and posted another in Taylor Mill with a city sign bearing her name: “Hometown show tonight— had to come and see it again because I still can’t believe I have a road sign in the town that started my country music dreams 🥲♥️”
In September of 2021, Pearce received a key to the city and a day named after her in her hometown. That’s when the signs were installed, reading: “Welcome to Taylor Mill, hometown of country music star Carly Pearce.” She said at the time: “I truly have no words. This town made me who I am.... I will always [love] you, Taylor Mill.”
