Carly Pearce is set to return as host of the Academy of Country Music Honors ceremony later this year. The reigning ACM Female Artist of the Year announced on her social media channels on Wednesday (June 22) that the ceremony “is one of my most favorite events of the year! It is a privilege to once again host this special night and celebrate those who are making profound impact on Country music.”
Pearce is coming back for her second year to host the 15th annual ACM Honors. She took on the role last year for the 14th annual event, saying at that time that she was “humbled and excited” for the opportunity. Since she was confirmed as host last year, Pearce has been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, delivered a full-length album packed with fan-favorite tracks (29: Written In Stone), announced her first headlining show at the historic Ryman Auditorium (and added a second night when the first sold out in under an hour), and took home two ACM Awards, among other highlights.
“ACM Honors is shaping up to be an unforgettable night, honoring some of the biggest names and achievements in Country Music, all while also shining a spotlight on the Studio Recording musicians and Industry professionals that make the music scene in Nashville and around the world possible,” said Academy of Country Music CEO Damon Whiteside. “We’re so excited to have Carly back to host ACM Honors for her second year in a row, making the 15th anniversary of this event even more special with our reigning ACM Female Artist of the Year steering the show.”
The Academy of Country Music previously announced the ACM Special Award honorees, which include Miranda Lambert, HARDY, Morgan Wallen, Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton and many others who “have shaped Country Music in powerful ways and built phenomenal legacies…” See the full list here. The ceremony is set for August 24, hosted at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
