Jimmie Allen and Dylan Scott are seemingly teasing a new collaboration… and they hope fans are ready for it. The two country artists didn’t reveal much (including a song title or release date). They shared a photo with one another on their social media channels, captioned: “We cookin’ something up! Not sure if y’all are ready!”
So far, fans are already eager to hear what the “Freedom Was A Highway” and “My Girl” singers have in the works. Commenters gushed: “Dreams really do come true!,” “Epic! So excited for this,” “No I’m not (ready) but can’t wait,” “I bet it will be lit🔥🔥🔥,” “SOOOO READYYYYYY!,” and more. See the teaser here:
Scott’s latest release is a single called “Livin’ My Best Life,” the title track of his upcoming album that’ll make listeners want to drive with the windows down. Livin’ My Best Life is set to release August 5. Allen’s most recent release is “Down Home,” a sentimental single that serves as a nod to his late father, James, who died in 2019. Allen said the song is “probably one of the most special songs I’ve ever written. I wrote it about my father – kind of like, hopefully he’s in heaven and looking down on everything I’m doing and hope he’d be proud of me. …I hope this song finds its place in the world and this song helps people that have lost not only a father, or a parent, or a loved one just like the song has helped me.”
