Miranda Lambert is gearing up for her Las Vegas Residency. The “If I Was A Cowboy” artist announced Velvet Rodeo on her social media channels on Wednesday morning (March 30): “I’m heading to Vegas y’all! My new residency ✨ Velvet Rodeo ✨begins this fall!”
Velvet Rodeo is set to kick off on September 23, also running on September 24, 28 and 30. It runs again for a few dates in October, November and December, and picks back up in spring of 2023 with dates in March and April, closing on April 9. Lambert shared the list of residency dates on social media on Wednesday morning, which are also listed on her website. The fan club presale starts Friday (April 1) at 10 a.m. PT, and tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, April 7 at 10 a.m. PT.
Lambert’s residency announcement comes shortly after she revealed the release date of her new album. Palomino is set to release on April 29. The reigning Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year released her first single from the album, “Strange,” earlier this month. Lambert promised that Palomino is a “record (that) takes you on a journey through songs. I hope y’all are ready to travel with us wandering spirits and meet some cool characters with great stories.”
Lambert is celebrating her new album by performing an intimate show for fans at Casa Rosa, her Nashville bar, and fans everywhere can watch it. Fans can listen and tune in free for a stream of the exclusive iHeartCountry LIVE with Miranda Lambert on Wednesday, April 6 at 7pm PT local time via iHeartRadio's official YouTube channel. Fans can also listen to the show via iHeartRadio's iHeartCountry Radio channel.
