Luke Combs shocked fans when he brought special guest on stage during the Country to Country music festival. International pop star Ed Sheeran took the stage with the country giant, and festival goers went wild for the unexpected cross-genre collaboration.
The C2C: Country to Country music festival is hailed as the biggest of its kind in Europe. AEG Europe and SJM Concerts established the festival in association with the Country Music Association, holding “three days of the best country music and programming” in London, Glasgow and Dublin each March. “C2C 2022 saw multi award-winning headliners Luke Combs, Darius Rucker and Miranda Lambert along with Kip Moore, Brett Young, Ashley McBryde, Russell Dickerson, Scotty McCreery, Flatland Cavalry, Tennille Townes and Hailey Whitters take to the arena stage,” the festival’s website reads. The festival will return for its ninth year in March of 2023. Watch Combs surprise fans here:
The two superstar artists reportedly performed Sheeran’s “Dive,” a song that appears on his 2017 album ÷, which Combs has previously covered: “So don't call me baby/ Unless you mean it/ Don't tell me you need me/ If you don't believe it/ So let me know the truth/ Before I dive right into you”
