Old Dominion’s latest album is Time, Tequila & Therapy, so their “self care” routine probably seems very fitting — and unique. Bandmate Brad Tursi took to Instagram to share his preferred form of “self care,” setting the video to one of the songs on the band’s latest album, “No Hard Feelings.”
In the video, Tursi explains that he likes to brush his teeth a couple times a day. Then, he proceeds to trickle some tequila into the bristles of his toothbrush. “Just to make sure all the germs are killed,” Tursi takes a swig from the bottle for good measure (and hilariously attempts to gargle it as lead vocalist Matthew Ramsey laughs).
Time, Tequila & Therapy is packed with 13 new tracks, including “No Hard Feelings,” “Hawaii,” “Lonely Side of Town” (a collaboration with Gladys Knight), and the hit single “I Was On A Boat That Day,” among others. Old Dominion marked the release with an exclusive iHeartRadio Album Release Party in October, explaining that the name of their latest project stems from “three things that make everybody feel better.” One of the lines in a song on the album “just seemed to sum up the entire thing. It sums up us a band. It sums up the year we all went through,” Ramsay explained at the time. See the band’s tequila-inspired “self care” hack here:
