Kelly Clarkson performed a beautiful ballad when she delivered her rendition of “More Hearts Than Mine,” by country singer-songwriter Ingrid Andress. The pop giant and TV host covered the song on the “Kellyoke” segment of The Kelly Clarkson Show, nailing the emotional song that cautions falling in love too fast — particularly, warning of the heartache that will follow if the couple splits after meeting her family:
“If I bring you home to mama/ I guess I'd better warn ya/ She falls in love a little faster than I do/ And my dad will check your tires/ Pour you whiskey over ice and/ Take you fishing but pretend that he don't like you/ Oh, if we break up, I'll be fine/ But you'll be breaking more hearts than mine”
