Luke Combs shared a sweet video of a young fan belting out one of his songs during a recent concert, and he said demonstrates why “I’d still be Doin’ This if I wasn’t Doin’ This!”

Sporting one of the country artist’s baseball caps, the young concertgoer emphatically shouted the lyrics to Combs’ latest single. That fan was Jax, an 8-year-old who attended Combs’ show in Dallas, Texas in November, the Tennessean reports. The Nashville-based news outlet notes that the fan who filmed the video happened to sit next to Jax and his mother (and have since become friends). The mother-son duo attended the show because the tickets were a birthday gift to Jax.

When the video started gaining attention on social media, it landed in front of the award-winning country artist himself. Combs shared it on his own social media channels on Thursday evening (January 27), saying: “THIS! This is why I’d still be Doin’ This if I wasn’t Doin’ This!” Fans dropped comments cheering Jax on, including “Aww how precious,” and “Get it little man!!”

But the excitement for Jax didn’t stop there. In addition to Combs sharing his video, a member of the “Doin’ This” singer’s team promised to get an autograph for the 8-year-old fan, according to t he Tennessean.

Combs performed “Doin’ This” for the first time live at the CMA Awards in November. The song reflects on what Combs would do with his life if he didn't pursue his career in music, but ultimately, he knows there's nothing he'd rather do: “I’d have a Friday night crowd in the palm of my hand/ Cup of brown liquor, couple buddies in a band/ Singin' them same damn songs like I am now/ I’d be feelin' on fire on a hardwood stage/ Bright lights like lightning runnin' through my veins/ At the Grand Ole Opry or a show in some no-name town/ I’d still be doin' this if I wasn't doin' this”
