Tim McGraw reminisced on “one of my all time favorite songs and videos” by his “beautiful wife,” fellow country icon Faith Hill.

McGraw posted a clip of Hill’s “Let Me Let Go” on Instagram on Monday evening (June 29). Hill released the song, written by Steve Diamond and Dennis Morgan, as her third single from her third studio record, Faith, in 1998. The record also included “This Kiss,” “Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me,” “Love Ain’t Like That,” “The Secret of Life” and more.

“This is one of my all time favorite songs and videos of my beautiful wife,” McGraw, a 2026 inductee into the Country Music Hall of Fame, wrote in his caption on Instagram.

McGraw and Hill said “I do” in a surprise ceremony on October 6, 1996. The couple invited wedding guests under the guise of a charity softball game and concert in McGraw’s Louisiana hometown. They ended up getting married in an intimate backyard ceremony under an oak tree. The wedding took place just a few months after McGraw popped the question in a dressing room backstage on tour. Now, the couple share three adult daughters: Gracie McGraw, 29, Maggie McGraw, 27, and Audrey McGraw, 24. McGraw previously said in an interview that he’s most proud of “my marriage,” and his daughters are “all very successful. They’re strong-willed, independent young women…we couldn’t be more proud of that.”
