Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown, made a surprise appearance at his bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
Kane and Katelyn appeared at Kane Brown's on Broadway on Wednesday night (August 26), the same evening the venue hosted a Shania Twain lookalike contest. The bar’s official Instagram account shared a clip of Kane and Katelyn behind the bar as the band kicked off a rendition of Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.” The bar and Nashville Experience also shared a glimpse of Kane and Katelyn dancing to Kane’s unreleased song (nodding to Twain’s “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?”), and his latest solo single, “Woman.”
Kane released “Woman” in March. He teamed up with John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Ben Johnson and Taylor Delmar Phillips to write the anthem. Since then, Kane released “Never Been In Love,” his first duet with Lauren Alaina in about 10 years (following 2016’s “What Ifs”). Kane has also offered sneak peeks of unreleased music on his social media accounts, including a faith-fueled anthem he teased earlier this month. Kane has not announced a release date for new music as of publication time on Thursday (August 27).
Kane opened his Nashville bar earlier this year. He joined a growing number of artists opening a venue downtown, along with Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and others.
“We’ve really taken our time developing the bar,” Brown said in a statement when he announced Kane Brown’s on Broadway. “We wanted to make it a place that stands apart from everything else on Lower Broadway. I wanted to build a place that I want to hang out at, my friends want to hang out at and will be an unforgettable experience for anyone who visits. Nights in Nashville are about to hit a little bit different.”
