Parker McCollum is a father of two!
The country star and his wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum, announced on Saturday (August 1) that son Rocker Tommy Light McCollum was born weighing 8 pounds, 7 oz on Thursday (July 30). Hallie wrote in the caption of her shared Instagram post with Parker: “THANK YOU JESUS for another healthy baby boy! we are so in love with our little fam! mom & dad x 2 here we gooooooo!”
Hallie’s post includes sweet glimpses of Rocker Tommy, and some of the first photos as a family of four. Parker made it home from touring for Rocker Tommy’s birth. He said in a statement on Wednesday (July 29), in part: “Hey everyone, (I) wanted to share some good news with you all. My beautiful wife is blessing our family with our second baby and it’s looking like he’ll be here tomorrow [Thursday, July 30]! I couldn’t be more excited to become a dad for the second time.”
Parker and Hallie announced on Christmas Day that Hallie was pregnant with the couple’s second child. She posted a family photo with her hand on her growing baby bump, and announced: “McCollum party of 4 next Christmas!!!! another BOY joining us summer 2026!!! Merry Christmas, everyone! Thank you, Jesus! HBD!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Rocker Tommy joins big brother Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, who was born on August 8, 2024, nearly one week before his due date. Parker beamed at the time, “Mom & Dad forever! I love you Hallie Ray and I love our Major Man!”
Parker and Hallie said “I do” in 2022 in Texas. Parker previously said, per his record label, after his first year of marriage that “your quality time is like the number-one thing that they [wives] really care about, at least mine does. …I have learned more than anything that is it my time that probably goes the furthest with her.”
Parker is one of several country artists to welcome a baby into the family in 2026. Others who have welcomed babies so far this year include Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones and more. Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick, Conner Smith, Runaway June’s Natalie Stovall are still expecting additions to the family in 2026. See the list of pregnancy announcements here.
