Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have seemingly unfollowed one another shortly after finalizing their divorce.
As of publication time on Wednesday morning (July 29), Jelly Roll does not appear among Bunnie Xo’s Instagram followers, and vice versa. The decision to unfollow one another arrives shortly after the former couple finalized their divorce, ending the marriage after nearly 10 years.
Jelly Roll, 41, met Bunnie Xo, 46, in 2015, and although she said the relationship was “strictly platonic” at first, they were undeniably “so drawn” to one another. They spontaneously got married in August 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and returned to the same venue to renew their vows in August 2023.
The Grammy-winning artist and the Dumb Blonde podcast host separated on May 9. Jelly Roll filed for divorce on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee, outside of Nashville. The divorce was finalized earlier this month. Bunnie Xo reflected on the argument that led to the separation and divorce filing in a since-deleted episode of her podcast shortly after the news broke in June. She also clarified that “nobody cheated,” and revealed that she and Jelly Roll still plan to have a baby together amid her ongoing IVF journey.
Jelly Roll directed people to his now-ex’s podcast for details about the split. He also addressed it once on stage and shared a clip of that moment on Instagram. He said, in part: “me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends. We just got off the phone earlier today. Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth. That will be my best friend forever.”
Bunnie Xo has since removed that Dumb Blonde episode because “I realized I just don’t want one of the hardest moments of my life to become a permanent headline. I don’t want to live in that, you know? I believe in being transparent with you guys and that’s never, ever, ever going to change. But I also believe that people deserve the space to heal, to evolve and to move forward.”
