HARDY is celebrating his 32nd birthday, and Lainey Wilson was among many fellow singer-songwriters and friends to pay tribute to him on Tuesday (September 13). The “Heart Like A Truck” singer posted two photos on Instagram from a performance with HARDY. Wilson pledged as she shared the onstage pictures that she’d “fight a grizzly bear” for him, and referenced their recent collaboration. She wrote in her caption:

“Happy birthday to this fool. I know you’d fight a grizzly bear for me & I’d do the same for you. Ps. Can I get out of the truck now? I’ve been waiting in here for a while now…. 🤘🏼🔥 [‘Wait In The Truck’] [HARDY]”

Wilson teamed up with HARDY on “Wait In The Truck,” a powerful song that released in late August. The music video depicts HARDY finding Wilson stuck in a toxic relationship, and opting to take matters into his own hands (ultimately, ending up behind bars, though Wilson still visits him in prison years after the incident). Wilson said at the time that it was “probably one of THE best music videos I’ve ever been a part of. … I truly feel like it can change lives.” See Wilson’s birthday tribute to HARDY here:
