Now that she’s revealed some long-awaited details about her next album, fans need to know: When will Kelsea Ballerini go on tour?
The “HEARTFIRST” artist seemingly dropped a hint about a forthcoming tour announcement when she replied to a TikTok user’s question (though Ballerini showed that many fans have been begging for tour dates). Though she didn’t confirm details, Ballerini gave a wink and captioned “hold onto your boots, baby,” a reference to the latest song to release from her upcoming fourth studio album, Subject to Change.
Ballerini’s album is set to release on September 23. She announced details earlier this month after dropping major teasers on her social media channels and in email updates. The first song to release from Subject to Change was “HEARTFIRST,” which Ballerini debuted earlier this year. At that time, she explained that she “chose ‘HEARTFIRST’ as the first single off the new project because I feel like it just sets the tone for everything I’m working on right now. It’s very warm, very breezy-feeling, very settled. That’s kind of the tone of the whole project that I’m working on, and I feel like ‘HEARTFIRST’ was the first step into that new world.”
Next, Ballerini released “Love Is A Cowboy,” a wistful track that compares a love interest to “wild horses in your chest”: “It makes your heart feel like wild horses in your chest/ Trying to catch, it's like tryna tame a wild, wild west/ And when I'm with him, it's like ropin' the wind/ Love is a cowboy”
The award-winning singer-songwriter said Subject to Change is “different than anything I’ve ever done, and it’s heavily influenced by… ‘90s female country.” See Ballerini’s response to a question about her next tour here:
