It’s finally here...

Humble Quest debuted on Friday morning (March 25), marking the latest album release from Maren Morris. The “Circles Around This Town” singer took to Instagram to shout out “the village who helped me make it,” including the album’s producer, instrumentation, fellow writers and more. Fans and followers were quick to congratulate Morris on her “incredible” new album.

The country trailblazer’s husband, fellow singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd, shared a message of his own: “So proud of Humble Quest. It’s my favorite Maren record to date. Having lived in this bubble for two years just makes it even sweeter having it out. I loved watching it be created in Hawaii and can’t believe it’s finally here for everyone to enjoy. Congrats, MM! Love you more than anything and so proud of you every day.”

Morris responded with a sweet message of gratitude: “Thank you for pulling me out of the darkness and creating something beautiful with me. I can’t love you anymore than I do now.”

The singing-songwriting power couple have long supported one another’s career endeavors. Earlier this week, Morris took to social media to share a sweet photo locked in an embrace with Hurd, captioning: “This album wouldn’t have happened without you.

Morris announced Humble Quest back in January, signaling a new “era” that features some of her “happiest work.” Morris previously explained that the 11-track album stemmed from her pursuit to define the word “humble,” and she got candid about her feeling of losing control during the COVID-19 pandemic:

“‘Humble’ began to feel more like a grounded state of understanding oneself; not so much by being relatable to or understood by all. What I also discovered is that the songs I was managing to compose during this time were the most authentic and light lyrics that have ever flowed from my pen. They weren’t fitting with the times, they were distracting and eventually saving me from the times.
“So, here are the stories of my rises, my overshares, my appreciation of Midwestern guys who stand at least a foot taller than me, my lullabies, my wine-soaked conversations with a dear friend and my final goodbye to one.”

Morris has released a few songs before the long-awaited album’s release, including “Circles Around This Town,” — which chronicles her beginnings in Nashville — “Background Music” and “Nervous.” She also announced her 2022 tour earlier this month, telling fans: “Oh, how I’ve missed you. I can’t wait to see you out under the stars…
