Maren Morris is full of surprises…
The country trailblazer unexpectedly released another song from her highly-anticipated album on Friday (March 11), the same day tickets go on sale for her tour this year. Morris debuted a clip of “Nervous” on her social media channels on Friday morning, and her fans and followers couldn’t stop gushing over her voice. Natalie Hemby, Morris’ fellow singer in The Highwomen, was stunned: “Whuuuuuuuuttttttt!!!! Yaaaaaayyyy!!!!”
Morris is weeks away from releasing her next album, Humble Quest, which is set to debut on March 25. Since the beginning of this year, she’s been rolling out a few of her new songs to give fans a taste of what to expect from her latest project. It started with her autobiographical “Circles Around This Town” and moved on to “Background Music” before she shared “Nervous” on Friday. Morris previously deemed her latest collection “the most authentic and light lyrics that have ever flowed from my pen,” promising stories of “my rises, my overshares,” and much more.

Morris is one of many artists included in the star-studded lineup at the iHeartCountry Festival presented by Capital One, set for May 7 in Austin, Texas.
