Lizzo's Elton John Glasses While Video Chatting the Music Icon Is So Pure

If you thought you were the biggest Lizzo fan, think again — because that title goes to Sir Elton John.

The music legend hosted FOX presents the iHeartRadio Living Room Concert for America on Sunday, March 29th, and during the one-hour special, Elton called up his good friend Lizzo. She answered in a pair of Elton-inspired sunglasses (which looked amazing), and said, "Hey, Elton! You like my glasses?!"

John then explained how proud he is of Lizzo and told her, "I'm so thrilled for you because I adore what you do. You're so authentic. You just got out there and you do it, and you bring people together. And I love watching you go crazy and becoming such a big star. I'm so proud of you."

Lizzo then took the opportunity to talk about how music brings people together, especially during this difficult time in the world as humanity deals with coronavirus COVID-19 and its rippling effects. She said, "You really got a point about bringing people together. As artists, we're able to do that, even when we can't physically be with people. So, I think right now, when we're practicing physical social distancing, it's important to remember that music brings people together. Your music has been with me my entire life. You've always brought me closer to my family. I think that we can learn from that and continue to just bring people together through music, and through connecting through social media."

She concluded with an uplifting, inspiring message to all those watching at home:

"We cannot let this tear us apart. The social distancing is something that we're doing for our health, but we have to come together, closer as a people. Call a friend that you haven't spoken to in a while, call a family member. This is a very real pandemic. I know we watch TV, and we see a lot of fear on television, but we can't let the fear spread faster than the virus. We have to let love spread. So, that's what I've been practicing every single day."

In attempt to lift everyone's spirits, two weeks ago, Lizzo led a mass meditation on Instagram for all her fans. She explained, "We need healing from fear during this global crisis. If you with me join me with a high vibration and any sanitizer you got."

You can support two of many charitable organizations that are helping victims and first responders during this difficult time —Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation. Every dollar raised from the COVID-19 response fund for Feeding America will be used to get food and funds to local food banks across the US and FOX Entertainment is matching the first $100,000 donated from supporters. Money raised for First Responders Children's Foundation will help support those first responder families who are enduring financial hardship due to the coronavirus outbreak.

And if you missed any of the iHeartRadio Living Room Concert for America, watch the special on iHeartRadio's official YouTube channel until April 1st.
