'The Simple Life' Appears To Be Making A Return (Featuring Lindsay Lohan)

Update: June 25, 2019 3:43 pm ET The Simple Life's Twitter account has been unverified by the social media platform and it's unconfirmed if the account is run by the show or just a fan account.

Sanasa, Sanasa, Sanasa! If you are old enough to remember the golden age of reality TV circa the early 2000s, then you are definitely going to freak out knowing The Simple Life is up to something.

The I C O N I C reality show starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie saw the two socialites take on run-of-the-mill jobs like fast food employees, farmers, and that time they helped pre-fame Kesha (yes, that Kesha) find her mom a date. We were also given some of the greatest catchphrases of all time (that I still use to this day), such as "that's hot," "do they, like, sell wall stuff?" and many, many more.

On Tuesday (June 25), the show's Twitter account was resurrected from dormancy and began posting; which immediately made me dig out my old velour Juicy Couture tracksuit in anticipation of what is to come. The first tweet featured two old flip phones, one in leopard print and the other bedazzled with a pink "P." But it was the next few tweets that really raised eyebrows.

Not only does the Twitter account only follow three other accounts, but they happen to be Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Netflix! CUE MY FREAK OUT!

The Simple Life account tweeted emojis of a blonde woman and a redhead as well as posting a photo of the pair making it pretty obvious they'd be the stars of the revival. But it didn't stop there, it looks like the duo is busy working on the show's new theme song! LOVES IT!

But you might be thinking, "Wait, I thought Lindsay and Paris like totally hated each other?" It's no secret that the frenemies have had their fair share of drama over the past 15+ years but it seems like they're burying the hatchet to link up for this new show.

It comes at a good time seeing as Lohan's reality show, Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club, has recently just been canceled.
