Bobby Looks Back On Latest Season Of American Idol After Finale

Bobby Memories On Idol

Bobby Bones has been the first full time mentor for this recently wrapped season of American Idol. He went from the Top 24 contestants mentor the previous season to this year in being a mentor throughout all of the stages.

(**spoiler alert for American Idol**)

The show wrapped on Sunday, May 19th crowning Laine Hardy as the next American Idol. Throughout the season, Bones worked with each of the contestants as they vied for America's attention and votes. He offered up advice and help as these new artists begin their careers and time in the spotlight. There were several special moments for Bones along the journey, from relating to some of the contestants with their previous life experiences to getting to fill in for Ryan Seacrest for the first time ever hosting one night after Seacrest got sick.

Bones also shared a lot of his special memories from the show as well as from the season finale night where country artists Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Jon Pardi and Kane Brown all performed. Plus, one of Bones favorite bands ever, Weezer was there and Bones went into their backstage area to meet them. He had a great time talking with judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan during some of the moments when the cameras were off.

It was another successful season of American Idol and Bones mentoring definitely played a big role in it.
