Luke Bryan Features Nashville Police Officers In Latest Project

Luke Bryan recruited a few familiar faces for an upcoming project… Bryan is dress off the release of his his latest single, “Country On,” a country anthem is one that “uplifts the hardworking American people out there,” so, naturally, its music video will feature real-life police officers.

Bryan filmed his music video in Downtown Nashville, where he has a bar d music venue, Luke’s 32 Bridge, on Lower Broadway. A few officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department will make an appearance. The police department shared in a tweet on July 1:

“THANK YOU to [Luke Bryan] for including Officer Evan Grace, Sgt. Zach Bevis & Officer Kelly Turcios in the video for his new song, Country On. The video was recorded in downtown Nashville this morning.”

“Country On” — written by David Frasier, Styles Haury, Mark Nesler and Mitch Oglesby — released on Friday, July 1, kicking off the holiday weekend with a declaration that “we ain’t seen our better days” in the USA.

“When you hear, ‘Hey Farm Boy…’ I mean that certainly spoke to me right off the bat, and the fact that we were able to put so many different aspects of the way, the country American way of life out there, and I felt like this song really, really nailed it,” Bryan added in a statement. “It was something that really spoke to my heart and being able to put it out in the heart of summer, right against the Fourth of July, I feel it’s gonna talk to, speak to a lot of people out there.”
